Parcels

Parcels in, parcels out, no spreadsheet

Log the courier's drop in one go, let ComtyLink tell the resident and keep reminding them, and sign every parcel out at the front desk with a name and a signature.

Features

The parcel room, under control

Log a delivery in one go

Register every parcel from the courier's drop in a single batch: unit, resident, tracking number and a description per parcel, and the carrier once for the lot.

The resident is emailed straight away

Each parcel logged against a resident sends them a "You have a package waiting" email the moment it is saved. The wording is yours to edit under Settings.

Reminders on your schedule

Set how often a waiting parcel is chased, from daily to fortnightly, and ComtyLink re-emails the resident on that schedule until it's collected. You can also send one by hand from the parcel's page.

Front-desk collection kiosk

A kiosk screen at reception or in the mailroom: search by name or unit, confirm who is collecting, tick that you checked their identity, and take a signature on screen.

Residents see what's waiting

The resident portal and the resident app list each resident's parcels under Waiting for pickup and Collected, so "did mine arrive?" answers itself.

A record from arrival to collection

Who collected, when, and their signature stay on the parcel. A Word parcel report covers the date range and buildings you choose (up to 1,000 parcels per report), and the Report Builder has a parcels section.

How It Works

From the courier to the resident's hands

1

The courier arrives

Open New Parcels, pick the building and add a row per parcel. Register them all at once.

2

The resident is told

An email goes out for each parcel, and the parcel appears in their portal and app.

3

Reminders run themselves

A parcel still waiting is chased again on the interval you set for the building. Send an extra one from the parcel's page if you like.

4

Collected at the kiosk

Find the parcel by name or unit, confirm who is collecting, take their signature, and it moves to Collected.

Questions building managers ask

Does the resident have to use the app?
No. The resident gets an email when a parcel is logged and reminders on the schedule you set while it is still waiting. The portal and the app simply let them see the list for themselves.
Who can use the collection kiosk?
Anyone at the desk who is signed in with a building-manager login: a concierge, a relief staff member or the building manager. The kiosk searches by name or unit number, records who collected the parcel and takes a signature on screen. It can also log new parcels on the spot.
What proof do I have if a resident says a parcel never arrived?
The parcel record shows when it was logged, every email sent, and when it was collected, by whom, with their signature. A parcel report lists everything received over the date range you choose, up to 1,000 parcels per report.
Does parcel management cost extra?
No. Parcels are part of ComtyLink's single price of $1 per unit per month, like every other feature.
